VECMAP® has been tested during the demonstration stage by 12 Institutions in 9 countries, who still use the system:

  • In Albania by the National Institute of Public Health in Tirana (NIPH)
  • In Belgium by the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels (RBINS)
  • In Denmark by the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen (DTU)
  • In Italy by the Centro Agricoltura Ambiente "G. Nicoli" in Crevalcore (CAA)
  • In Portugal by the National Public Health Institute in Lisbon (INSA)
  • In Spain by the University of the Balearic Islands in Palma de Majorca (UIB)
  • In Switzerland by the University of Zurich (UZH/IPZ)
  • In UK by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology in Wallingford (CEH) and the Health Protection Agency in Salisbury (HPA)
  • In The Netherlands by the Dutch Centre for Monitoring of Vectors in Wageningen (CMV) and the National Institute of Public Health and Environment in Bilthoven (RIVM)

Innovation awards

VECMAP® received three innovation awards to date:

  • VECMAP® wins first Janssen Innovation Award for small enterprises (2012)
  • VECMAP® runner-up of the FLAGIS Geospatial Awards (2013)
